My new Juvia’s Place Palettes!

I’ve always loved lipstick but eye shadow is a TALENT. And I’m not saying I’m anywhereeee close to knowing wtf I’m doing, but these Juvia’s Place palettes are a pretty great start. I’ve seen them on all of my favorite beauty bloggers’ social media pages as the high pigmentation stands out in every single selfie I double-tap. Knowing this, I knew this was a great place for me to start my makeup addict journey!

Summer 17: A decadent dinner date out

Everybody loves a dinner date out! Well, at least we do. J and I absolutely love food, whether its out at a restaurant, food truck event, or at home.

So my mom called me a few weeks before Memorial Day letting me know that she and my Stepdad planned to come and visit me during the holidays, yay! I rarely get out of town visitors to my apartment, so I was extremely excited, especially because of who was coming! Knowing that I was still hosting on a budget, I still wanted to do all I could to make sure they were comfortable during their stay. My solution? Welcome Baskets!

Summer 17: A Saturday Out

I absolutely LOVE a day out in the sun! Ask my sweetheart, I’m always dragging him out for lunch al fresca. Yeah, it’s hot, we may sweat a little, blah blah blah. But there’s nothing like sitting out in the beautiful sun, enjoying lunch, nature and great company so we have begun to make this a part of our date practices. Well, with J and I, every day is a date lol I think that’s the goal in dating/love, finding someone who makes every event and activity feel like an adventure and I definitely feel that. So please deal as I document those adventures. 🙂

Now that I have my perfect headboard, I can’t see how I lived a glam life without it. Now that I have one, I feel as if I MAY be a real adult. Don’t quote me on that. But I have been dreamingggg of a tufted headboard for SO long but I’m just so dern cheap! It’s a sickness.
